Brandon Mann

Brandon Mann is an alumni of Berklee College of Music, one of America's most prestigious music schools. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a major in Contemporary Writing and Production. In addition to Brandon's education, he has over 18 years experience in the music industry. He has performed on stage with many world class acts such as Derek Trucks (Allman Brothers, Derek Trucks Band), John Blackwell (Prince, Patti LaBelle, Cameo), and Les Hall (Howie Day & the News, Trey Anastasio). He has toured with many regionally successful bands opening up for Foghat, Parliament Funkadelic, Little River Band, and Buddy Guy.

Brandon is wellversed in many styles of music including: jass, rock, classical and blues. Brandon enjoys sharing his passion for music with new students and is excited to receive new enthusiastic students for tutoring the art that is playing the guitar!

 
Chris Bryan

Chris Bryan, one of Music ‘N More’s two excellent drums and percussion instructors, has been giving professional private instruction in the field of percussion for over seven years. In addition to his vast teaching background, Chris has a 16-year resume of performing experience with a variety of groups ranging from rock bands to marching drum lines. 

Chris has completed coursework in percussion at Temple University in Philadelphia, and holds an associates degree in music from Bucks County Community College in Newtown, Pa. While not giving lessons at Music ‘N More, Chris directs the Percussion Ensemble at Charlotte Latin School in Charlotte and is completing requirements for his bachelors degree in music education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Chris is comfortable with all styles of percussion, from rock, funk and latin styles on the drum kit to rudimentary marching and orchestral percussion techniques. He spent 2004 performing with The Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps, and from 2004 to 2007 he consistently played to sold-out venues in the Philadelphia area with the original band Experience Kef.  A patient but thorough teacher, Chris has the unique ability to excite students of all ages and skill levels about the world of drumming.

 
Christopher Bullard

Christopher Bullard is a drummer, songwriter and video producer with many accolades to his credit. He is versatile, unique and creative. Playing in marching bands, orchestras, jazz bands, rock groups and funk bands have enriched Christopher’s 29 year career.

A laid back style with a strong backbeat, artists like Carter Beauford, Aaron Spears, Dennis Chambers and many more have influenced his blues, rock, jazz, country, soul, gospel and funk syle of play. Christopher has been groomed into a well rounded musician by the UNC Marching Tarheels, NCA&T State University, Liberty University and many others.

You can catch Christopher playing with the elite NBA Rhythm Cats Drum Team at all Charlotte Bobcats games and gigging around the region.

 

 
Dan Fournier

Dan has been a professional musician for over 25 years who has played guitar with multiple touring bands. He is a student of the Berklee School of Music out of Boston, Masachutsetts and currently performs with an 80’s cover band out of Charlotte, NC. Dan’s typical students are individuals interested in learning how to play guitar and are from the beginners to intermediate level. Dan loves teaching students the joy of playing guitar and is always excited to start with new students!

 
Doug Tyner

Tutoring Location: Mooresville

Doug has been a professional musician since he was 16, playing guitar in multiple touring bands. He attended CPCC to acquire his Associate in Fine Arts degree, which included courses such as: Music Theory I, II, and III and Applied Music. Continuing to expand his musical abilities, he studied Jazz guitar and classical guitar each for a year. To increase his experience with his second love, the piano, Doug enrolled in piano courses including Classical Piano I, II, and III. Through a specialized training course taken at an educational institution in Oregon, Doug has also become a professional Piano Technician. Doug loves to educate enthusiastic individuals the proper way to play multiple guitar styles and the piano, and shares his passion at each session to ensure that his students have fun and continue their desire to learn how to play!

 
Sean Burke

Very few music instructors in the state have a resume of professional performing experience like Music ‘N More drum set instructor Sean Burke. A multi-year veteran of esteemed Southern rock outfit Atlanta Rhythm Section, Burke has recorded two albums with the group and toured extensively with them throughout the U.S. and Europe.

Sean has also toured and recorded with former Ted Nugent frontman Derek St. Holmes and comedian Tim Wilson. His vast performing experience has landed him endorsement deals with several top drum manufacturers, and won him the respect of aspiring rock drummers throughout the region and nationwide. Students interested in learning the intricacies of powerful rock and roll drum set playing need look no further than Music ‘N More’s Sean Burke: decades of pro experience make undeniably the real thing.

 
Stewart Lee Mauldin

Stewart is a consummate guitarist and talented instructor who has spent the last 32 years doing what he loves: playing, teaching, writing, performing and producing music. A native of Concord, N.C., he is equally versed in Blues, Rock, Jazz, Country, Soul, Gospel and Funk. He has performed in almost every possible musical setting including: Concert venues, clubs, showcases, big bands and orchestras. He is currently conducting lessons in: sight reading, music theory, scales, modes, harmony, composition and improvisation. He has recently released his third CD entitled “Pronounced Junk!” with his original jazz and blues band of 9 years Junque Gallery. It is produced by Grammy nominated and award winning producer/engineer Mark Williams (Hootie and the Blowfish, Joe Cocker, Kirk Franklin.) Stewart has opened for and or played in conjunction with such big names as Kansas, Jefferson Starship, Linda Rondstadt, The Temptations and Ernie K Doe. “I believe music is the International language of love and healer of the human spirit.” “I love waking up every day playing, teaching and sharing musical ideas with others. It is my goal to present to the student all the necessary instructional tools, guidance, professional insight and motivation needed to achieve musical happiness and aid in your musical success.
